Hildur and the Caput chamber ensemble will perform a new piece tonight. The piece is called Runway and is based on aviation communication methods. It is conducted with a specially designed light conducting system, built by Derek Holzer. Runway was conceived in close co-operation with the visual artist Elín Hansdóttir, who has built and designed a light installation for the music.
Furthermore, Caput will also perform Music For Airports 2/2 by Brian Eno in a brand new arrangement by Hildur for a brass sextet.
This performance is a part of the Sequences Art Festival. It will take place in Héðinshúsið in Reykjavík. Due to very limited seating for the performance, it is necessary to reserve a seat by sending a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
